Rescue a Million believes that there is a hero within each of us. We started the Young Hero Awards to recognize the powerful impact that young people can have in the world when they awaken the heroes within them.
What is a Young Hero?
A young hero of the year is a young individual, age 5 to 18, who, through action in either the local or global community, has positively affected other children, the environment, or both.
Prizes
There will be young heroes selected from the elementary school, middle school, and high school age groups. Winners will receive special recognition during Rescue a Million's SuperHero Awards Gala at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. Our Grand Prize Winner will receive complimentary tickets to attend the event.
