Reach the Children uses a variety of programs in order to improve the quality of life for deprived children, including orphans. Their primary emphasis is education, vocational training, and micro-enterprise, empowering entire families to lift themselves out of poverty permanently. Rescue a Million is helping to expand their micro-enterprise programs to reach more families in need.

Unitus is a Global Microfinance Accelerator, providing carefully selected microfinance organizations in developing countries with the necessary capital and capacity consulting needed for rapid growth, enabling them to serve a much larger base of families in need.

Heifer International
|
Heifer International promotes sustainable development to end world hunger and poverty. Their motto is "Ending Hunger, Caring for the Earth." They help families help themselves by providing "living loans" of animals, whose offspring are passed on to other families in need, and teaching environmentally sound farming methods.
