Rescue a Million is working to save our earth's most precious resources - children and the environment. We believe that helping young people realize the power they have to make a difference in the world is a very important part of this mission. One way young people can positively impact the world is through inspiring others via their writing. Rescue a Million is conducting an essay contest for individuals ages 5 to 18.
Essay Topic
Rescue a Million's mission is to save children and the environment. We want to hear your thoughts in 500 words or less about the importance of service to others and helping save our natural environment. Let us hear your passion as you connect serving others and taking care of the environment to your home, school and/or community.
Winners
There will be winners selected from the elementary school, middle school, and high school age groups. Winning writers will receive medals as well as special recognition on Rescue a Million's website.
Deadline
Entries for Rescue a Million's 2009-2010 Essay Contest must be received by mail no later than April 15th, 2010.
